Profile

Born in Madrid in 1974, Pablo left engineering studies at the university to pursue his passion for Design. After finishing his studies at the Istituto Europeo di Design he joined one of the most prestigious design studios in Spain. In 2002, he founded Erretres, and since then has been involved in the development of many projects for companies like BBVA, Telefónica, El País, Camper, La Fábrica or Museo Nacional del Prado. He is also the Creative Director of the prestigious magazine Matador.

Throughout his professional career, Pablo has developed multiple branding projects for different companies like Canal+. He has also designed more than 300 editorial products for some of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the country, for which he has become a key reference within the editorial design sector.

Obsessed with the global quality of the product, attention to detail and production processes, he sees design as an extremely powerful tool that connects creators and brands with their audiences. His main specialties are:

He has a long lasting relationship with different academic institutions like Universidad Europea, IE Business School, IED Madrid or Trazos. He was the Director of the Intensive Master in Visual Communication in the Istituto Europeo di Design, Madrid and Consultant in the Master  in the IE School of Communication. In 2012 launched the Master Erretres on Strategic Design with the school Trazos. His main qualifications in Education are as follow:

His work has been recognized with multiple Awards (including a D&AD pencil and 15 Laus Awards) and his projects are featured in many design publications. He frequently participates in design forums, conferences, workshops and on judging panels for design competitions.
